Qualifying of Athletes & Teams
to attend the 2002 North American Indigenous Games to be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba (July 25th - August 4th, 2002)

The Nova Scotia Mi'kmaw Sports & Recreation Circle, in co-operation with the various Mi'kmaw host communities, will be organizing qualifiers for both team and individual sports in the following categories in preparation for competition at the 2002 North American Indigenous Games scheduled for Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada) from July 25th - August 4th, 2002.

Interested teams and individuals that qualify to participate (please see age categories) are asked to register their teams or individually to the contact person listed below in the appropriate sport category. 

Deadline for applications are listed in the sport categories below.  We will be following this deadlines strictly for teams and individuals, so please register before the deadline to ensure your position to participate.  Also, please view the minimum requirements at the bottom of the page for your information.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR BASKETBALL :
EXTENDED TO THE FOLLOWING DATE :::
OCTOBER 12TH, 2001 AT 4:00PM FOR ALL DIVISIONS.  
NO EXCEPTIONS.  THIS INCLUDES TEAM ROSTERS AS WELL.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  TEAMS TO WEAR ONE COLOUR SHIRTS (MUST REGISTER COLOR PRIOR TO EVENT TO PREVENT TEAMS FROM HAVING THE SAME COLORS), AS WELL AS NON-MARKING SNEAKERS.
